Hope this finds you coping with the lockdown restrictions, it’s been much harder this time I know BUT it is really important that we all look ahead to have the restrictions lifted and get our mind and body ready . Daily walks and exercises need to continue, online Parkinson’s exercises and Tai Chi will all help, Remember our brains may have got a little sluggish so they need a boost !!
Stretch them using crosswords ,Sudoku, TV quizzes play them on catch up TV .When you are able to pause it a little longer to answer the questions or work out the answer .Healthy eating and good fluid intake are also key
I also wanted to let you know I will be leaving on 10th March. After 23 years in PD I have had the most rewarding of times in this fascinating field and am sad to be going. So thank you all for all the help, support. laughs and tears over all the years and wishing you all every good health and happiness for the future
