Parkinson UK recently hosted a Vaccine webinar, facilitated by Dr Donald Grosset, Clinical Director of the UK Parkinson’s Excellence Network, Dr Richard Walker, Clinical Lead: medicine, Catherine Jones, Parkinson’s Specialist Nurse and COVID immuniser which was joined by 3700 people.
The webinar covered a range of issues including which vaccine is better for someone with Parkinson’s, when people will be called for the vaccine, what happens at the vaccination appointment and what possible side effects are. You can watch the webinar here

First Steps is a structured programme hosted by people with Parkinson’s. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, take part in group discussions and hear from others in a similar situation. You can attend with a family member or a friend. Parkinson’s UK are investing in a new GDNF trial
We are committing £800,000 to a new GDNF trial – we’re launching a new company tasked with planning a possible new trial, because we are determined to find a new, life changing treatment for Parkinsons. Find our more here
