Parkinson's UK Solihull Branch

Welcome to the Solihull Branch of Parkinson's UK

Queens Award For Voluntary Service

Hello! We are the Solihull Branch of Parkinson's UK. Our website brings people living with Parkinson's information about our activities and services and other services in the Solihull area.

There is also a news page where we can post articles provided by you.

We meet every Tuesday morning at 10:00 and 11:30 for exercise classes at the Methodist Church Hall, Station Approach, Solihull

We also have singing therapy sessions at the Oliver Bird Hall, United reformed Church, Warwick Road at  9.45 am on Mondays every fortnight and Yoga sessions at the Solihull Arts centre on Friday mornings at 11.30 am, and a bi-monthly social event on a Thursday evening. Have a look at our News Page and "What We Do" page to see what we offer.

There are about 400 people with Parkinson's in the Solihull area. However, we have approximately 240 members, and many of these are carers and other people with an interest in the condition. Some people affected by Parkinson's are unaware of our branch, or do not know what we do. We hope our website will help us to let people know what we have on offer.

We welcome any ideas for improving the website and adding to the information we provide.

Ceremony for the presentation of the Queen's award in the Council Chamber in Solihull.
